This 2-speaker, 400 watt high performance audio system is designed for select 2014+ Harley-Davidson® motorcycles (see compatibility chart.) The 6.5” fairing speakers are frequency-response tuned to overcome wind, exhaust, and road noise up to 75 MPH. The 400-watt amplifier features 2-channels for the fairing speakers and 2 additional channels for expansion of a TourPak or saddlebag speakers. The amplifier installation kit includes an external heat-sink, mounting brackets, speaker and power wiring with all necessary hardware. The included T-harness features a loop-thru for an optional DSR1 digital signal processor (sold separately.) You will need to flash your factory radio to use this kit. Ready to flash? Amazing!!
The installation process was direct, simple plug in after running power wire. Sound is INCREDIBLE!! And I only did the 2 speaker kit. Definitely the best speaker and amp for your Harley Street Glide!
Great System & Excellent Support
Just installed this in my 2019 Road Glide Special, and it sounds awesome ! 10x better that the factory HD boom audio. I made a rookie mistake and connected the input harness to the rear channel on the amp and couldn’t figure out wa I screwed up, but I talked with Forest in tech support and he walked thru some of the install steps with me and helped me realize what I had done. Easy fix and now my HD is road ready again!
Two Stage Amp and Speaker Kit
just installed the two stage speaker and amp kit. I have a 2020 Milwaukee eight street glide. a few slight variation from the twin cam. None the less the kit fit beautifully. The instructions plus the installation video is easy to follow. The system sounds great. Will be adding the rear set soon.
4-Channel System
I have a 2017 SGS, and had my mechanic install the HD14RGSG-STAGE2 kit and saddle bag lids. I chose this system due to waterproofing, since I get caught in the rain a lot. Now as for quality, it all looks pretty well built, had the system for about 7 months, sounds clear on the road at 80mph. Only thing is that the highs are bright as heck, even with the treble all the way down. playing music off my iPhone sounds good too, again the highs are bright. I understand that that was the way it was designed, but that needs to come down at least 6db. Bad enough I have hearing loss due to military deployments.
I could wash my bike and just flip the lids to empty to the water that accumulated in the bad speaker and move on from there.
RF should make a Mid woofer for lower fairings off you want more boom, and use the same amp. Might be an idea there!!
Other than that I really have no complaints of the system.
