Overview

The Punch P700-1bd mono amplifier is specifically designed for medium to high-powered subwoofer applications. The variable crossover and built-in Punch EQ allow precision tuning of Bass, and the infrasonic filter keeps subsonic frequencies from damaging subwoofers. The Pass-Thru RCA jacks provide flexibility as your system grows and keeps Y-adapters to a minimum. This amplifier combines the efficiency of Class-D with the power of Class B and is perfect for running any subwoofer system.

Amazing deep bass

I purchased a Toyota FR-S in 2015 that had this amp with a remote switch pre-wired in, and Rockford speakers all around, 9 in total. Usually I’m not too picky about the sound but coming from a cramped-for-space mini-truck, it was nice to finally have a little more bass. I have the gain set at 3 and I rarely turn the remote eq past 1, unless I want to shake everyone else’s windows, in which case I’ll turn it up to 3 or 4. Past that, it’s just too much for my ears in this interior. Its set to 250 RMS, which is perfect for this car. No problems yet, and I’ve owned it almost 2 years.
