The 250-watt saddlebag speakers were engineered for peak performance and feature a heat-resistant motor structure and radiator ring to efficiently dissipate heat, ensuring consistent, powerful sound even under the most demanding conditions.

The 6x9’s feature also long-throw woofers for high output and deep, extended low-end response, delivering powerful yet balanced sound. The large voice coil and extended frequency range enhance bass output, ensuring louder, more dynamic, and long-lasting performance.

So, let’s get into the kit and installation. The patent-pending top-loading bucket and backer design that adds additional rigidity in the saddlebag lids. Now to ensure smooth, precise cutting over the bag lid surface, we developed a newly designed precision-cut template with parallel ribbing - seamless installation, super easy. The robust, injection-molded, tube-style gasketed saddlebag speaker mount inserts from the outside of the lid, making it possible to accommodate larger 6x9 speakers, for unmatched audio performance.

As always, this saddlebag kit was designed to stand up to the outdoor environment and has passed rigorous testing for both vibration and water intrusion and features the same watertight seal as your stock saddlebags. Precision Cutting

To ensure smooth, precise cutting over the bag lid surface, we developed a newly designed precision-cut template with parallel ribbing.  The ribs add strength that provide a solid foundation for cutting accuracy, and accommodates both jig-saws and compact air saws.

Self-Centering Design

The patent-pending top-loading bucket and backer design strengthens the assembly and allows it to accommodate deeper, more powerful drivers like the Stage III 6x9" for unmatched audio performance. The tube-style gasket design and the u-channel formed by mating the top bucket and backer ring keeps everything water-tight, so your valuables stay nice and dry.

Low-End Extension

The 6x9” 3-way speakers feature injection molded Santoprene surrounds for low distortion and internal damping for outstanding mid-bass and - combined with a curvilinear poly cone - extends the frequency range for enhanced low-end response. The motor structure utilizes a large 2-inch voice coil and is combined with an ultra-efficient dual neodymium magnet for increased output and performance for an impressive 250-watts of power handling.

Integrated Aesthetics

The speaker grille seamlessly aligns with the complex contours of the compound bag-lid, maintaining a cohesive and integrated aesthetic across the entire assembly. For improved sealing, it is secured to the bucket using four rubber O-rings, while a custom badge accents the Hot Rod Red trim rings to add a finishing touch.

IDHS™ (Inductive Damping Heat Sink)

The speaker fins push heat away from the voice coils to reduce speaker temperature and distortion to produce the clearest-possible audio.

Bridge Mounted Design

The offset Midrange and Tweeter speaker design eliminates acoustic reflection and maximizes audio output. The specific left and right Midrange and Tweeters are also aligned for optimal riding position, making sure the audio is always directed in the proper location, giving the best on-road audio experience.

ICC+

The Integrated Concealed Crossover boasts a hyper-efficient design and produces the clarity and output usually only found in traditional component speaker set-ups, plus the design allows for a quicker install.

Vibration-Tested

Tested and then re-tested to ensure supreme durability. These speakers have endured extreme conditions and then vibration validation all to make sure they stand the test of time.
