The P3-1X12 is a single P3 12” vented enclosure with 600 Watts RMS power handling wired to a 1-Ohm load. The enclosure is constructed with 5/8” MDF, covered in high density carpet, and features quick release compression terminals.

Ran two for 4-years
I have owned two of the P3-1X12 for about 4 years now. They are both in one car. (Two single 12 enclosures worked better for me). Each one is ran with its own Punch 500 watt amplifier. Upgraded AGM Battery, Big 3 upgrade and all 0 gauge power cables complete a fully powered install.
PLEASE listen:
Everywhere I take my car people are very impressed with the deep bass and HUGE sound. One professional "big box" installer did not believe me when I assured him this is only Rockford's "PUNCH 3" tier subwoofers and not their elite model. I just sounded off with other "two-12" vehicles last week. I did win even against a competitor that on paper should have beat me.
Please consider that something magic happens with the correct amplifiers and power scheme. Also, please consider I have driven these FULL TILT, with rap, R&B, Bass demo music (cannot list names on this website) almost daily for 4 years.
I can shake incredible, but I enjoy how deep as well.
I hope you read this as an honest example of the real world performance I enjoy.
