Trophies and World Records Abound for Team RF at 2003 Spring Break Nationals

21 years ago Tempe, AZ
Daytona Beach, Fla. – Team RF proved once again why Rockford Fosgate supports the Number One Competition Team in the industry by dominating the first major 2003 final event here in Daytona Beach. No other team came close to the amount of trophies and overall showing in both the SPL and SQ competitions at the 2003 Spring Break Nationals. “The scary thing is that there will be larger shows later in the year, so we fully expect to walk away with even more championships than we did here,” explains Mark Fukuda, director of RTTI (Rockford Technical Training Institute). “At times, it seemed as if some of our competitors were just toying with the competition. We want to congratulate all of our Team RF competitors for an incredible showing, especially our newest team member, Jaime Delepaz of Ohio, who won the dB Drag Death Match for the loudest vehicle at the show over five minutes.” Team RF 2003 Spring Break Nationals Trophy breakdown: • 12 First Place Wins • 9 Second Place Wins • 9 World Records • 2 Best of Show Aw ards • Death Match Winner • The Loudest Vehicle in Daytona Beach First Place SQ and installation winners include Jeff Lamb (Ultra SQl 601-up); and Charles Logsdon (Street 601-up).
