Rockford Fosgate Now Shipping 25-and 40-Farad Super Carbon Capacitors

20 years, 11 months ago Tempe, AZ

Tempe, Ariz. – Rockford Fosgate is leading the charge in low ESR, large capacitance, carbon style capacitors. Now shipping, Rockford Fosgate is proud to continue this tradition with its 25- and 40-Farad Super Carbon Capacitors. “The industry looks towards Rockford Fosgate for new and innovative technologies, and we have delivered once again,” explains Mark Lieber, Rockford Fosgate product specialist. “The new Rockford Fosgate Super Carbon Capacitors’ design allows them to charge and discharge more than 100 times faster than a battery as well as having the highest power density of any commercially available capacitor.“ Also by default the new Carbon technology actually extends the life of most any car battery. It does by first supplying enough current to aid in starting of the vehicle and second by storing enough supplemental energy, which allows the battery to keep a higher charge.

The 25 Farad CPCC25 specs include:
• Rated voltage - 16 volts constant
• Power output – 250 amps at 12.6 volts
• ESR - 14 mille Ohms
• Connections – One 2 AWG and three 4 AWG The 40 Farad CPCC40 specs include:
• Rated voltage - 16 volts constant
• Power output – 400 amps at 12.6 volts
• ESR - 8 mille Ohms
