Rockford Fosgate Launches 2014 Prime Series Motorcycle Audio Systems

Rockford Fosgate, the industry leader in high-performance car audio systems, announced the launch of the new 2014 Prime Series Motorcycle Audio Systems. Showcased at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. from Jan. 7-9, 2014, the new two-series line is scheduled to be available through select Rockford Fosgate retail partners in Q2 2014.

"The new Rockford Fosgate Prime motorcycle audio systems are available in a complete, 2-channel or 4-channel system designed for Harley-Davidson® motorcycles model years 1998 - 2013 and include a matched amplifier and speaker set, amp mounting plate, and wiring harness," explained Jake Braaten, Rockford Corp’s director of product development. “The systems have been designed for installs that require little space, but require that big sound Rockford Fosgate is famous for."

The R1-HD2-9813 is the line’s 2-channel amplified speaker system, while the R1-HD4-9813 is the line's 4-channel amplified speaker system for Harley Davidson’s Street Glide®, Electra Glide®, and Ultra® models. Each system is Klippel-verified, 2031-CEA Compliant.
