Rockford Appoints Rob Wempe to National Sales Director - Specialty Retailers

Tempe, Ariz. - Rockford is proud to announce that it has appointed Rob Wempe to National Sales Director – Specialty Retailers. In his new position, Wempe will report to Bill Jackson, Rockford vice president, mobile sales and will work with the Rockford’s regional sales managers on setting goals and priorities in their territories. In addition, he will work with the brand managers to implement strategic plans for the market. “Rob has worked as a Rockford regional sales manager for five years and done a terrific job,” explains Jackson. “His passion and dedication to the company and its brands is unparalleled. With his diverse experience in the mobile audio marketplace, he was the perfect choice to head up this strategic and extremely important area within Rockford.”

Prior to joining Rockford where he has managed regional sales territories for Rockford Fosgate, Lightning Audio, MB Quart, and Q-Logic, Wempe spent time in the rep business, as a buyer/vice president for Brandsmart in Kansas City, MO, and as the vice president of MERA. Beyond his new duties, Wempe will continue to manage two territories: Western Sales and Marketing, and Metro NY.
