Ready For Pavement Or Surf Rockford Launches Mobile and Element-Ready 1000 Watt Ultra-Compact Power Class BD Amps During 2016 Annual Product Showcase

Want a high power amp for both your car and boat…or anything in between, but it needs to stand up to the elements, too? Rockford Fosgate has the answer with the new T1000X5ad (mobile) and TM1000X5ad (marine) 1000 watt, multi-channel, Class ad amplifiers. Rockford Fosgate (www.rockfordfosgate.com), the industry leader in high-performance audio systems, will feature these new Power Series amps during its annual Product Showcase, held at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino (Artist Ballroom) in Las Vegas, Nev. from Jan. 6-8, 2016. Additionally, the amp’s top mounted controls include Rockford Fosgate’s C.L.E.A.N. level setting system, integrated high/low pass crossovers, input channel configuration switches and Punch EQ boost circuit. Upgraded input RCA connectors allow for high or low level input signals to be used through differential input circuit which eliminates incoming noise and can provide a remote out signal when using high level inputs. Dual fan cooling, real time thermal monitoring and dual extruded heat sinks maintain heat dissipation even at high outputs keeping the amp cool. The amp is also compatible with Rockford Fosgate’s PLC2 level remote control allowing remote output level control of the sub channel.

“Class AD uses our Dynamic Frequency Switching to increase the switching frequency during lower output levels for better signal resolution removing any unwanted distortion,” Braaten continued. “This eliminates the inherent switching noise associated with class D designs and also provides instantaneous output power over varying impedance loads.”

• UV Inhibitor Materials -The brushed aluminum chassis and powder coated end cap feature integrated UV inhibitor materials to prevent degradation of the amplifiers finish over time.
• Corrosion Protection (Electronics) – Two part epoxy coated PCB boards prevent corrosion of critical components due to exposure in moisture rich environments.
• Stainless/ Nickel Plated Hardware – Stainless and nickel-plated hardware is used due to its natural resistance to corrosion and rusting. This ensures that electrical connections will not degrade over time due to exposure to the elements.
