Meet the audio systems for the all-new 2022 Polaris Slingshot. This upgradeable audio kit allows the rider to dial in their own audio experience and make their mark. The Stage 2 audio kit is factory installed in the SL, SLR, R and LE models, which comes with a Ride Command source unit, 400-watt amplifier and front component speakers and pods. Stage 1 features a PMX-P2 source unit as well as front component speakers and pods. Stage 3 can be added to either Stage 1 or 2, which adds additional rear speakers and color matched pods. Designed and engineered with the Polaris team to ensure the best audio integration, which makes it rider ready right out of the gate.

6.5” Front Speaker Pods + 1” Tweeters

Rider Centric Performance

Designed for on-road performance, the front 6.5” mid-range speakers are paired with 1” tweeters and together are rated to handle 50 watts of power. The LCP tweeters are positioned rider centric, meaning they are directly focused on the rider for that next level audio experience. The 6.5” mid-range speakers feature durable injection molded woofers and are designed to perform at highway speeds.

400-Watt Amplifier

Street Ready Performance

This 400-watt 4-channel amplifier was built for all day on-road performance. Engineered from the ground up to be incredibly reliable, this amplifier knows no quit. So, no matter how long you ride or where you go, it never runs out of gas.

6.5” Rear Coaxial Speakers

Surrounded in Sound

Available as a Stage 3 upgrade the 6.5” rear coaxial speakers are rated to handle 50 watts of power and are housed-in color matched pods. The speakers and enclosures are purpose-built for long lasting performance and durability.

2.7” Source Unit

Bright, Easy Control

Stage 1 features the PMX-P2 source unit. With its bright and 2.7” display it’s easy to control and has class leading features, like Bluetooth™, AM/FM, as well as Pandora streaming capabilities. The wet bonded display ensures long lasting use out in the elements and features day and night modes, so you can always keep an eye on your playlist.

FTRC™ (Factory Tune with Ride Command)

True factory integration has its advantages. Rockford and Polaris worked directly together to integrate the factory audio system into the Ride command unit. This means no additional installation, no un-needed wiring, and all direct from the factory connections for flawless integration. This industry first integration also eliminates any tweaking or tuning of the audio system. So, enjoy that right off the factory floor audio performance.

OAP™ (Open Air Performance)

OAP is Open Air Performance. Delivering clear audio output can be difficult in the open-air environment, but this system was specifically designed and tuned to perform for just that. So, no matter the speed and where the highway takes you, you will always be able to hear your soundtrack loud and clear.

Neo Motors

Our Ultra‐Efficient Neodymium Dual Magnet Motor Structure not only increases the strength of our motors, which is the Rockford standard in class leading speaker output, and is also super light, which means more output, and less weight.

Vast + Co-Molded Surround

VAST injection molded Santoprene surrounds provide low distortion and high efficiency mid-bass performance, built to perform well in all weather conditions. It won’t dry out or rot with moisture, like other foam surrounds.

ICC+

The Integrated Concealed Crossover boasts a hyper-efficient design and produces the clarity and output usually only found in traditional component speaker set-up.

Full Range Class-D Technology

More power and less electrical fatigue. These high-efficiency amplifiers produce class leading power and don’t over-draw on the side-by-side electrical system.
