Goodyear, Ariz. Community Action Vehicle Hits Hard With Rockford Fosgate Sound System

Goodyear, Ariz. – Rockford Fosgate continues its dedication to helping local community action programs by donating amplifiers, woofers, speakers and accessories for the Goodyear (Arizona) Police Department’s T.O.P.S. (Teacher Officer Partnership in Schools) and G.R.E.A.T. (Gang Resistance Education and Training) vehicle, a 2002 Chevy Impala. The system, which is used for attracting community’s youths to the vehicle in order for the T.O.P.S. and G.R.E.A.T. officers to relate the program’s anti-drug, anti-violence, and pro-community message, consists of a Rockford Fosgate RFX9000 source unit, Punch 501X and 401S amplifiers, FNQ speakers, two Punch HE 10-inch woofers, and accessories.

The system was designed by Rockford Fosgate Technical Support Rep. Tommy Fradenburg and the install was donated by Audio Express of Glendale, Ariz. “The Rockford Fosgate system is awesome,” said T.O.P.S. and G.R.E.A.T. officer John Miller, a five-year veteran of the Goodyear Police force. “T.O.P.S. and G.R.E.A.T. are very important community programs and we need to attract the attention of the kids, and what better way than with a Rockford Fosgate sound system? Rockford Fosgate has helped us in the past and they have stepped up again with another great system. We are very grateful for their continued support. James (Bustamante) and everyone at Audio Express have also been a great supporter of the our programs and we also want to thank them for another great installation.” Adds Charlie Leib, public relations manager for Rockford Fosgate, “We have seen the benefits of terrific community action programs such as T.O.P.S. and G.R.E.A.T. and we think it is our responsibility to help the police force and their programs in any way that we can.
