From X to Z, Rockford Fosgate's 2003 Demo Vehicle Set To Steal The Show...Again

Tempe, Ariz. – It’s becoming a trend. Year after year, Rockford Technical Training Institute (RTTI) has the burden thrust upon them to live up to the previous year’s award-winning demo vehicle install. Once again, they haven’t disappointed. Rockford Fosgate has turned a 2003 Nissan Z sports coupe into an audiophile’s dream and will unveil the latest masterpiece at CES 2003 (booth #828). “Over the past few years, Rockford Fosgate has built a tremendous relationship with Nissan and that has allowed us to use their great models for our demo vehicles,” explains mark Fukuda, director of RTTI. “In 2001 it was the Frontier. In 2002 it was the Xterra. Now we have the very cool 350Z to work with. This trend of getting a different style vehicle each year…from a pickup to an SUV to a sports coupe…really keeps our minds and imaginations sharp since we can’t go off the previous year’s install because the vehicles are so different. We are very proud of this latest install.” The 350Z incorporates nothing but the best that Rockford Fosgate has to offer. Up front is the new RFXRAV DVD source unit that feeds video to three Rosen monitors. The heart of the audio system includes two Type RF XC4 and one Type RF XC7 amplifiers. They feed the juice to two 12-inch HE2 woofers, two pair of FNQ 3614 component systems including one FNQ 3514 mid (center channel) and one FNQ 4401X tweeter (center channel). You will also find three OEQ2 equalizers and Connecting Punch Dead Skin sound damping and accessories. Exterior upgrades include a NISSMO rear spoiler, Rays Engineering Wheels, Bridgestone Tires, a Carbon Fiber hood, and paint by Rocky’s Pure Kustoms (Mesa, Ariz.). This 350Z demo will join Rockford’s other current demo vehicles, the two Frontiers and the Xterra, provided by Nissan that showcase the latest product and technologies from both companies.
