I just bought another T30001 and I opened it up to check it out and saw something interesting?
Red and blue boardB

I've owned three of these now and this is the first one I've had like this, I thas two differnent colored boards? Do you think it got replaced with another one at some point? My other one I have now has a green on both side of the amp.
Green boards

Anyone have an idea why they changed the boards on them and if one is better than the other?

Where'd you get it from? I didnt know they had seperate sections to that amp. And I doubt that RF would use a different color board on each side.... maybe it was a refurb? Or a refurb from another company? You still got the little symbols printed on the board from RF?

lol

yup the T3k and T4k utilize the 2 cases from the T10001bd/T5002 that have been slightly moddified. Saves a bunch of money on the cost of the amp. lol i've thought of and almost seen how a T4k would look in 2 of the seperate cases. dont think it would be hard to solder/exend the wires but not really worth possibly messing up the amp to have some fun. also i just thought of the issue of the grounds on the powersupply side of the amp that arent there on the smaller amps

like i said on SMD one of the boards was probably replaced. if i remember correctly the red boards are older then the blue ones. both look legit as well cant really fake half the amp and have it work correctly

I bought it used on ebay. All the markings on the boards aare right. I bet Emp is right-the blue one was probably replaced with a newer board. Thanks for the input.

I'm only going to use it for a few comps next season- so I won't be pushing it too hard. :)
