Hey folks, can anybody hook me up with a good and reliable program to help me design a sub enclosure for my power dvc 15's. As far as I know RF doesn't have one for the old school subs and I want to do it right this time, tired of wasting mdf and screws..any help is greatly appreciated..thanks!!

Sure about that? Did you check the Knowledge Base and looked in the manual for box designs? I remember spending lots of time in RTTI making sure those boxes were feasible and capable of being built.

i'll have a look around..i remember asking if the T1/T2 HO enclosure design would work but they can't because of the difference in parameters on the subs..i'll be sure to hunt for those designs after work..would box designs for the RFR2215's be in there? Thanks!

sorry admin, i looked for 2 hours, i'm chalking it up to not knowing how to navigate the RF knowledge base but the box design with the owners manual for my subs shows a box that's tuned for 35Hz, I'm more into slot ports than round. I'll just convert the volume for the round port to match for a slot port and go with that..in the mean time, if you happen to know any other box designs by RF that I could go by for my subs, please feel free to shoot them my way..thanks alot for your help!

The box design in the manual is what I was referring to.
The shape of the box can take on any H x W x D as long as the total internal volume results in the target Vb as specified in the manual.
The shape of the port can be rectangle, square, round, triangular, whatever, as long as the internal area of the port and length of the port is preserved. |
