| I'd run them at 2ohm. The T3002 could potentially provide a little over 800 watts of power! So be safe wit it! |

| its 800 watts if you have 14.4 volts right? i do have a large alt 160 amps. my vehicle ground is factory which is not very big. my battery is where i am confused. the pos. side is 1awg then that goes into a big harness that goes through out the car, so i dont know which size it is. the neg. side is very small wire. so with that i am probably getting box power about 300 at 2ohm's maybe a little bit more, and thats 75 watts min. to each speaker maybe a 120 at max with my connections. if i upgrade my wires which i read about do i get more power. my speakers call for 100 watts rms but i like to have a little more so i can have better control. |

| alright guys i did a small upgrade. i ran a 1awg wire from my battery to the alt. and 1awg for grounding the battery. i also upgrade my car's i think its called the chasis ground the wire that comes from the engine block. what a difference in sound its much louder and much cleaner. my gains are set about 1/4 of the way up. |

Nice, you did teh big three! Just goes to show you what upgrading the electrical system up front can do for your electrical in the back.
My car actually had a bad Battery to body ground. It was causing my amp to overheat and distort. Added a 4 awg wire and got louder, stopped overheating and stopped distorting =D |

| yeah durtbagg i could not believe how much sound i got by doing that. i was really surprised. i was told the old school t1000-1 the one i have is a current hungry sob. i was told to do that and my friend said you will hear a difference. i spent half a day running that wire. most of that was spent on going from the battery to alt. that was not fun and i said every 4 letter cus about 100 times. the only other problem i am having is i think my sub box may not be the right one. its a nice box and heavy but when i bought it the guy told me it was a universal box meaning all 12inch subs can go in there. i told him not all 12inch subs are made equal. am i right i dont know. it sounds good but i just think i need a differnt box. as far as box sizes i dont have a clue. i dont know how to read that. i know there tuning freq. and everything i just dont know what it is. i remembered i asked that guy that and he said i dont know. i probably should have avoided it and gone somewhere else. how can i find out if my box is right for my subs without having to rip everything out. |

Ok, sorry to be so late on this, but to find out your specs you first need to get the external dimensions. Length, width and height. Then, you need to measure the port dimensions. Length, width, eight. To measure the length, measure from the middle of the port on the bottom. Dont measure the side lengths because there will be 2 different answer's because the outside is longer than the inside, we measure from the middle to get the port length.
After you have that info, we should be able to tell you what your box is |
