Posted - 05/12/2009 : 7:42:08 PM well i am getting some of my amp shrouds redone and the set up cost are the biggest part of the price!!! but after that it's cheaper and was wondering if i offered that service would you guys be interested?
i am currently doing the two styles of the power 1000~~ o.g. and the l.e.d. and eventually the hole line of power and punch for those years!
let me know what you guys think and if you want it done i could figure pricing out! any input would be greatly appreciated! (' ')

Posted - 01/29/2010 : 07:18:07 AM well this has always been an issue with all of the power serious i think. and it will work either way. when i swapped my fan over i made sure there was nothing obstructing the exit of the air witch is now the entrance and it work fine. no issue's but i always wanted to add a few fans for that extra. |

Posted - 01/29/2010 : 01:58:33 AM I think there is a little flaw in the cooling of the amps (from factory). Wouldn't it be better to pull the air out of the shroud than to Push air in? I know the heat can reduce the life of the fan but lets say a piece of paper happens to land on the fan, you now have no cooling. On the other hand if a piece of paper lands on a fan pulling the heat from tha amp it will simply be blown off.
For those that don't know what I am talking about, the fan pulls air from the top vent and blows it into the shroud and blows it thorought the heat sink. If you flip the fan it can pull the fresh air from the far end of the heat sink and blow it out the top of the shroud. |

Posted - 01/28/2010 : 1:36:25 PM No I didn't install them as my 300 has stock length. If I get a speaker harness for my 650 from you I can do it all at once.:) Many thanks for those as well!

Posted - 01/27/2010 : 11:56:18 PM Emp, the pics do them no justice. They are mint. The silk screen is sharp and the coating is strong. If anyone was thinking about this but was uncertain about the results, be certain, it is a top notch job! |
